Kate Sadler, PhD student in the laboratory, has been awarded an APS Young Investigator Travel Support Award from the American Pain Society. Kate will receive $750 to be applied toward travel to the 35th Annual Scientific Meeting of the American Pain Society, May 11-14, 2016 in Austin, Texas.
Edward Hilton, Biochemistry major working in the laboratory, has been awarded an Undergraduate Travel Award to the ASPET Annual Meeting at Experimental Biology 2016 in San Diego, CA. This Travel Award is presented to outstanding undergraduates to enable them to present their research at one of the largest biological scientific meetings in the world. ASPET will provide up to $1000 to Edward to attend the meeting.
